Bring something to eat and drink\, and a rug or festival chair\, and join this very informal community picnic\, to celebrate midsummer and new public access to this parish council rewilding site. There will be children’s activities and Erica from ‘Hive Helpers’ is organising a honey tasting for us. If you have young children\, you can park on-site; otherwise parking is at the carpark of the Jolly Farmer pub in Blacknest\, which is nearby.
