Some lovely summer events are being planned across the parish to commemorate H.M. the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee:
Binsted’s main community event is the Jubilee Beacon Hogroast & Fireworks, being held at Binsted Recreation Ground on Thursday 2 June, 17:00–22:30.
From 17:00: Family Fun & Entertainment with a Hog Roast (including veggie/vegan options.) Tickets are available from Fete Committee – £10/adult (pre-booked) or £12/adult (on day); £5/child (pre-booked) or £7/child (on day); Under 5s free. Use Ticket Order to book tickets in advance.

At 21:45: Binsted’s Official Jubilee Beacon Bonfire will be lit, followed by fireworks. (Entry after 21:00 is free, for the Beacon and Fireworks only.)

Sunday 5 June, 12:00–12:45 – Rowledge Service of Thanksgiving.
Sunday 5 June, 13:00–16:00 – Rowledge Platinum Picnic – with live music and family-friendly games.
11-12 June – Flower festival in Holy Cross Church, Binsted.
2 July, 13:00–16:00 – Binsted Fete and Flower Show, at Binsted Recreation Ground, Jubilee-themed.
