BINSTED COUNCIL COLLECTS FOR UKRAINE

The collection for Ukraine in conjunction with Alton Community Centre and Petersfield was an over whelming success. Donations poured into the Pavilion, filling the small room and most of the main centre. Councillors loaded everything into a van and cars. Alton had taken drop off earlier in the day but by evening they were overloaded. So our Councillors headed to Petersfield Community Centre and helped boxing up donations and loading trucks that were heading to Polish Ukrainian migrant camps. A big thanks to the local community and their friends who gathered together such generous donations to provide help that is so desperately needed.
