Public Meeting iGAS – Wed 12th Oct at 5pm
Cllr Mark Kemp-Gee has arranged a public meeting with iGas on Wednesday 12th October from 5pm in Froyle Village Hall at which iGas representatives will provide a briefing on the proposed redevelopment of the Holybourne Rail Terminal. This is an important meeting for local residents to ask questions regarding the proposal which will affect the parish with issues such as noise & lighting plus extra HGV traffic on the A31 near to the Veolia site.
The planning application from iGas is to demolish the existing plant, consolidate oil operations and provide an aggregates depot at the rail terminal. The rail sidings would be reopened as part of this application with aggregate being distributed locally from here by truck. The application ref HCC/2022/0449 can be found on the HCC planning portal
