Part of our Parish resides inside the South Downs National Park. The National Park covers an area of 1,600 km2 providing plenty of open spaces with green rolling pastures, ancient woodlands and river valleys complemented with bustling towns and traditional villages that are steeped in history and offer a multitude of cultural opportunities.

Crossing the South Downs National Park is the South Downs Way – a 160 kilometre National Trail where you can walk through woodlands carpeted with bluebells; watch roe deer darting through wildflower meadows and witness hares boxing or even spot a red kite hunting above.
