Binsted Parish Council’s Section 137 Grants 2021/22

The Parish Council is empowered to make small grants to local organisations for activities which benefit people living in the Parish.

These grants are awarded to organisations which are judged to contribute to the whole community and which are not usually capable of covering their full running costs.

Community Associations, cultural, educational, sporting, leisure and local branches of charitable organisations are eligible. Individuals and commercial organisations are not eligible.

Under this scheme, in 2021/22 we awarded grants to:

Home Start Hampshire

Citizens Advice East Hampshire

Holy Cross Church Binsted

Victim Support

Bentley and Binsted Magazine

 

 

Grants are awarded on an annual basis, each June. To ensure your application is considered please ensure it reaches the Dep Clerk by 1 May 2022 deadline. Applications will be considered at the Full Council meeting in June2022.

Grants will be paid by bank transfer into the organisation’s account.
